Our first property for rent is in the Castiglione Messer Raimondo area of Abruzzo and has been transformed into a wonderful Italianate farm house with views over the Gran Sasso mountain range and endless olive groves. The renovation work was completed by July 2007. Please see our diary page!

The house sleeps up to 18 people with every mod con and a magnificent pool. The surrounding countryside lends itself beautifully to being at peace and harmony with the world. Casa Mimosa is the ideal venue for wedding receptions and other functions. There is outside and inside entertaining space for up to 50 people. Notes on the rental rates:
- Rental is to be paid in British Pounds.
- A deposit of 25% is taken at the time of booking, unless booking is taken less than 8 weeks before departure when the full sum is required. A fully refundable security deposit of £250 will be charged at the time of booking and assuming no damage/breakages are noted, will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure.
- Charges for daily maid service and meals for the freezer are available on request.

All showers are thermostatically controlled to maintain constant water temperature. White towels are provided in every room for bathroom use. Also large coloured towels are provided for use around Casa Mimosa's pool.

For disabled or elderly guests the downstairs bedroom/rec room is the ideal solution with sky TV and DVD. A fully fitted shower room for the disabled is adjacent to this room. Upstairs, on the spacious landing, there is an additional single sofa bed.

Entertainment: Satellite or cable, radio, cd, DVD x2, TV x2, stereo system, Wii.
Outside: parking, terrace, barbecue, garden, balcony, 8 loungers, 12 garden chairs
Swimming pool: 13.5m outdoor private pool with roman steps
Suitability: pets considered, non smoking inside, long term renters welcome, suitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair accessible, children welcome.

Notes: There is also a kitchenette on the landing with tea/coffee making facilities leading out onto a balcony that catches the early morning sun. The washing machine and tumble drier are situated in a separate laundry area and the 6th bedroom/rec room is set up for children with a range of games, Wii, DVDs, video games and books. The hallway is a large, welcoming space with a piano. For our health conscious guests there is an exercise bike, ab trainer and a range of hand weights.

Casa Mimosa is fitted with openable insect screens on every window, ceiling and free standing fans in every bedroom and air con throughout in case of excessive heat. The pool area is paved and has a very large pool house which provides shade and also houses the table tennis table. The swimming pool and garden are maintained by Luigi! Gabriella, his wife will provide meals for the freezer and a daily maid service (at extra cost to you). For your security an alarm system has been fitted.

Skiing
